About the Author

Branko Lazic was born on December 30, 1982 in Valjevo. He has graduated at the undergraduate and postgraduate studies of the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Belgrade. Branko’s academic title covers foreign affairs degree and Asian studies specialization degree. Foreign relations and their development are the main topics of his interest. Branko has participated at several seminaries and also attended several schools in Serbia and abroad (Czech Republic, Germany, France, Slovenia, Slovakia, Albania, Estonia, Latvia, Montenegro, Poland and Belgium). He is the author of several articles related to the international security and comparative politics issues. He also held a lecture about Digital Diplomacy at the Faculty of Security (University of Belgrade).
During 2007 he spent three months as an intern at the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna. Between September 2010 and May 2012 Branko acted as a member of the Municipal Council of Municipality of Ub (international cooperation issues). He was a member of the Centre for Asian Studies and associate of the Institute of Economic Diplomacy.

He follows the issue of Euro-Atlantic integration of the Western Balkans and Central Europe. During 2010/2011 Branko attended Diplomatic Training Course at the Diplomatic Academy Koca Popovic at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia. In summer 2019 he gained National Administration Certificate (State Licence Exam).
Since September 2017 till June 2020 Branko was active as a member of the Board of Directors (Managing Board) of the FC Radnički from Niš. In season 2018/19 Radnicki reached second place in Super League of Serbia (Vice Champions).
From August 2022, Deputy Representative of Serbia within the European Digital Diplomacy Exchange (EDDE) project Steering Board. Since September 2023 till May 2024 he was the main representative of the Serbian MFA within the EDDE.
